Help CenterStarting scanner version 2.11, app configuration settings are options that can be toggled on or off the Scanner to change the user experience flow for the end user.
How to access App configuration settings
- Tap on the "Settings" icon on the home screen
- Go to "System admin"
- Enter the PIN when requested.

App configuration settings
Below are the options that can be toggled ON or OFF:

| Show start page video |
If enabled, the logo on the home screen is replaced by a looping video. A default Bodd video is used. If a custom video is requred, please contact Support. |
| Shortened body scan instructions |
This setting affects body scans only. If enabled, instructions on what to wear and how to pose will be skipped. Instead, a shortened "A-pose" instruction will be shown before the countdown. |
| Review scan before uploading |
This setting affects body and foot scans only. If enabled, the user will be asked to review their Body scan and Foot scan before the scans are uploaded to BoddHub.
If the user opts to Rescan, they will go through the scan instructions again. |
| Display 3D model during upload |
This setting affects body and foot scans only. If enabled, the 3D model of the body scan or foot scan will be displayed during the upload process. The amount of time the 3D model is displayed depends on the speed of the network and the upload speed to BoddHub. Faster speeds means shorter display time of the 3D model. |
| User Capture Options | |
| Scan session identifier required |
Enabled by default. If disabled, the user will not be asked to enter an "Identifier" (such as an employee ID or session ID). Bodd generates a randomly-generated identifier (8 characters) for the session which will be displayed on BoddHub. |
| Use QR code for user input |
If enabled, the scanner can read a QR code for entering a scan session identifier. An on-screen keyboard option is also available as a fall-back. This option is automatically disabled if a scan session identifier is not required. |
| Ask for Fit Preferences | This option has been moved to BoddHub Scan Profiles under "Fit selection" |
| Language Options | |
| Allow user to change languages |
If enabled, this will allow the user to change languages on the scanner. Currently, only English is supported. Please contact Support if you require other languages. |
| Sound Options | |
| Use voiceover instructions | Enabled by default. If enabled, voiceover instructions will be played through the speakers on the scanner when instructions are being shown on the screen. |
